Flowers symbol in coffee grounds and tea leaves
Appreciation · Gifts · Happiness
What does a flowers mean in a coffee cup or tea leaves?
Traditionally, flowers promise happiness, love, or a gift; a bunch of flowers, good wishes from others. Flowers can reflect what you appreciate, and what others appreciate in you.
A question for reflection
Who or what would you like to thank right now?
One small step
Give someone a small sign of appreciation.
Where the flowers sits in the cup
- Near the rim: appreciation in what is close to you now, or soon.
- On the sides: appreciation in what is developing over the coming weeks.
- At the bottom: appreciation in what is settled, further away, or deep in the past.
- Near the handle: appreciation in you, your home, and the people close to you.
- Opposite the handle: appreciation in other people, and the wider world.
A clear shape counts for more than a faint one. Families and readers differ, so treat these as starting points.
