Cup symbol in coffee grounds and tea leaves

Emotions · Hospitality · Contentment

What does a cup mean in a coffee cup or tea leaves?

Traditionally, a cup suggests harmony, friendship, and a full and happy home. A cup can reflect what fills you up, and what you offer to others.

What fills your cup, and what empties it?

Do one thing today that refills you.

Near the rim: emotions in what is close to you now, or soon.
On the sides: emotions in what is developing over the coming weeks.
At the bottom: emotions in what is settled, further away, or deep in the past.
Near the handle: emotions in you, your home, and the people close to you.
Opposite the handle: emotions in other people, and the wider world.

A clear shape counts for more than a faint one. Families and readers differ, so treat these as starting points.
